Peru Missions
In 2004 the leadership at RMCC sensed the Lord calling us to a more active role in missions. We purchased a property in Chaclacayo, Peru (on the outskirts of Lima), and helped establish a large home that would be lovingly named the Children’s Cottage and led by Mario Davila Chocano and his wife Patti.
At the same time, our hearts were knit together with Albert Smith, a missionary and now Senior Pastor at Calvary Chapel El Terminal in Iquitos, Peru. We have been actively involved in this ministry ever since, frequently sending ministry, construction and leadership teams to help strengthen the church at El Terminal. Pastor Albert is fully supported by RMCC.
As well, the Lord has opened other doors for us to come alongside and support the work of the gospel in Peru.
Pastored by Albert Smith, CC El Terminal reaches children, youth, and adults throughout Iquitos and the surrounding area.
Led by Mario Davila Chocano and his wife Patti, the Children’s Cottage is a family for children who have been abandoned by their parents.
Pastored by Pastor Efrain Medina, whose vision is to reach the southern region of Peru with the gospel.
Led by Pastor Luis Cervantes, AIDIA is translating the entire Bible into the Quechua language in a remote city called Abancay.
Pastor Darwin Torres, his wife Annie and their family have a great passion for Jesus and for sharing His love with others.
We often plan missions trips to support our brothers and sisters in Peru. If you are interested in receiving more information, we would love to connect with you.
Your giving enables us to continue to support our friends and ministry partners in Peru as they share Jesus with their communities.
