Where God guides, He provides!
In the spring of 1991, Pastor Glen took a venture of faith when he rented a small office space to start a Bible study with family and friends and later that year began holding Sunday morning services in a science theatre at the University of Calgary. Earlier on, Pastor Glen had learned about the pioneering work of the late Pastor Chuck Smith in southern California. Inspired by Pastor Chuck’s commitment to teaching through the Word systematically, Pastor Glen began to teach the Bible in an expositional style (verse-by-verse), and he watched as God grew the church.
Indeed, the RMCC family has grown steadily over the years while at the same time Pastor Glen’s teaching is now reaching people across southern Alberta and beyond including the US and the UK through a vibrant online and radio ministry called Stay in the Word. As the Regional Director for Calvary Chapel Association, Pastor Glen has the joy of encouraging and strengthening other pastors who are planting churches across the prairie provinces, western Canada, and Alaska.
Glen is married to Jen and they have two adult children, Jared, who is married to Brook, and Jamie, who is engaged to Tom Campbell.
