Proverbs 19

Verse 3, People ruin their lives by their own foolishness and then are angry at the LORD. Man, who is living in rebellion against God, doing whatever he wants, when he finds himself in a mess, who is the first person he blames? Many times he blames God! Even Adam, when confronted with his sin told God. “. . . ‘The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.’” Genesis 3:12. I can be so prone to point the finger and blame anyone and everyone, even God, and not be responsible for our own actions. It is monstrous to charge the providence of God with the consequences of actions that He has forbidden. How true that is!
