AREAS OF SERVICE
Wycliffe Bible Translators began in 1934 when William Cameron Townsend realized many minority communities did not have the Bible in their languages. There are over 1200 languages that still need God’s Word in a language that speaks best to them. Wycliffe Canada partners with many organizations to pray, fund, and provide expertise in bringing the Word of God to those who need the transformation of their lives by the Holy Spirit through His Word
HIGHLIGHTS
Wayne and Val started with Wycliffe in 1994 and served in Africa for 11 years. Today, Wayne is on an international team as a website designer and programmer for minority language websites. Val provides operations leadership out of the corporate office in Calgary.
PRAYER NEEDS
Please pray the Word of God will go out through the efforts of Wycliffe and bring people to Jesus. Pray for wisdom and discernment as Val provides support to various Wycliffe departments and for Wayne and his team as they work through the technical challenges of overseeing a web system.
