We offer a number of Bible studies throughout the week, all focusing on various life issues and books of the Bible. We encourage you to get involved.

We will be studying “When the Hurt Runs Deep” by Kay Arthur and the study will be led by Lesley Lewis. This is a not a precept style of study. It will, however, include discussions, insights into the Word of God, confidential prayer times and fellowship. The text will be available in the church bookstore for ~$22.00. We will meet from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm in the East Campus.
As believers, “we have known and believed the love that God has for us.” (I John 4:16) John, the disciple of Jesus, was completely convinced that he was loved. At least six times in the book of John, he refers to himself as the one whom Jesus loved. He seemed to understand that a love relationship is the point of all that God created and of all that our Saviour went through on earth…
As we look at the life of this disciple, it is my prayer that we will be overwhelmed and changed by the depth of our Saviour’s love for us. (Romans 8:38)
Please note: This study meets bi-weekly.
Why are there so many divisions in the church? Why does the church sometimes tolerate sin? Are you experiencing any of the same problems that the Corinthians did in your own relationships or in your church? This study challenges ladies to examine every area of life through the lens of the gospel. Some specifics we will address are divisions, food, immorality, worship gatherings, spiritual gifts and resurrection. No class on October 30.
This year we will be studying 2nd Peter and Jude from October to December. When we resume in February 2019 we will study the Book of James until mid-April. As we study God’s Word in 2nd Peter and Jude, we will again be reminded that our Christian life begins with faith – and what a timely reminder for us! In these times it behooves us to dig deeply into god’s promises for continual spiritual growth that will allow us to contend for our faith – for God’s glory. Please join us Thursday afternoons from 1 – 2:30 as Jeannie Antliff leads us in worship and prayer before we move into our fellowship of study. A parent-led childcare co-op may be offered.
Please order your study materials directly through Christianbook.com. We will use the Navpress Life change Study Guide for 2nd Peter and Jude ISBN978-0-89109-994-9 and Warren Wiersbe’s “Be Alert” Commentary !SBN 978-1-4347-6504-8 to bring on October 4.
We meet every Thursday at the East Campus from 7-9 PM. Please come prepared to intercede for the needs of the prayer group in addition to upholding our Vessels of Honor ladies ministry in prayer and other RMCC family ministries.
