I just wanted to share how much I enjoyed the 2022 RMCC Living in the Last Days Women’s Conference held at beautiful Camp Caroline on the weekend of June 10-12. I loved all the conversations we were able to have as women and all the fun we had together! In fact, I thought for sure we’d get kicked out for being too happy, LOL! Laughter is good for the soul, isn’t it? It was so wonderful to get to know new ladies and reconnect with those I hadn’t seen in a long time. God definitely was working in lives over the course of the weekend.
Speaking of God working, the teachings through the book of 2 Peter were amazing. What I loved most about them was how gentle and straightforward they were yet challenging because everything was straight from the Word and supported by more scripture. There was no fluff, no opinions, no formulas, no top 10 best approaches to do this and that, and that was so refreshing. I know God spoke so clearly to me because it came directly from the Word.
Since returning home from the conference, I’ve been going through the notes I took in each of the teaching sessions and reading over 2 Peter and Colossians 3 which is what the Lord gave me during my time alone with Him at the conference. I am amazed by how everything lines up and comes together and I know that only God can do that! I can now see that He clearly prepared my heart in advance for this special time away so that I would hear him loud and clear. God is so good!
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him (Colossians 3:16-17, NKJV).
