Proverbs 5

As I consider the Proverb of the Day, I am brought to verse 13, I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined my ear to those who instruct me. The key to falling is simply not obeying. When I decide not to obey or listen to those the Lord has surrounded me with, who are godly and give godly instruction, I am headed for a train wreck. It is right to believe in Jesus Christ, but there is more if I want my life to be fruitful for Him. I MUST obey what His Word says and I must walk humbly so that I continue with a teachable heart. The day I stop learning is the day I start leaning…leaning toward sin and destruction.  To stay the course…I must obey the Captain!
