Proverbs 3

Turning to the Proverb of the Day, there were so many truths to consider and apply to my life. The one verse that I focused on was verse 27, Do now withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do so. Wisdom, which is to live life skillfully, teaches me that when I have the opportunity to bless someone, to build them up and it is within my power to do so, I need to capitalize on it. There are many times when I can see the negative or become critical. Here the Lord is challenging me to look past the deficiencies and declare the good.  As a Christian, I am to be a man of grace and to pour out into those lives around me the goodness of God.
