Proverbs 25

Verse 11, Timely advice is lovely, like golden apples in a silver basket.Along those same lines Solomon now speaks of what my words are like or what they should be like. They should be sweet; they should be delicious to the person receiving them, like an “apple of gold” or more likely a citrus fruit like an orange is what is being spoken of here! The words I speak should be pleasant, refreshing to those around me and as I allow the Spirit of God to work through me, He will give me the right words to say at the right time to minister to those around me. And if I don’t listen to Him then what comes from my mouth will be bitter, distasteful, it will not be refreshing.
