Proverbs 22

Verse 4, True humility and fear of the LORD lead to riches, honor and long life. I think many times Christians have bought into the world’s mentality of grabbing for the gusto one might say at any cost. And yet Solomon is saying that I can be blessed by living a humble life in the fear of God! Some don’t see this as being that great, maybe they even think it is dull to live like that! I can have spiritual riches, honor from God and that abundant life that is only found in Him. It is as Paul said in Ephesians 1:3, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” May I not forget that!
