Proverbs 21

Verse 2, People may be right in their own eyes, but the LORD examines their hearts. It is amazing how I can justify my actions. Man looks at the outward and if it profits him then it is good. God looks at the heart, the motivation behind my actions. Without Christ one can justify almost anything in their life. The problem is I don’t set the standard, God does, and outside of Christ all my righteousness, all my good works, are like filthy rags.
