Verses 26-27. As I fear the Lord, as I respect who He is, then I will have great confidence in what He is saying to me and I will obey His Words! It helps me to avoid the snares of death. Not only that but what I am to pass on to my children is important. I need to give my children a Godly heritage, a place of refuge from the world. It will be life to them. Again, as Solomon opened up this chapter he spoke of the building up of the home life, and that also includes the father’s responsibility.
